Dr. Mark Terrell (he/him) is co-founder of Your Story and a Flashlight and a Spiritual Director. He has over 20 years of experience in leadership,social services/ministry, and youth advocacy.Mark has dedicated his life to walking alongside individuals and groups who are navigating the paths of spiritual growth, wellness, and transformation. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry degree in Transformational Leadership, a Certificate in Spiritual Direction, and training with the Enneagram.
Mark enjoys hanging out with his family, reading, hiking/backpacking, eating delicious food, resting in the backyard, and taking a good nap.
He is committed to personal growth and loves to journey with others as they uncover their inner goodness.

Dr. Rachel Terrell (she/her) is a co-founder of Your Story and a Flashlight and a Narrative Coach with over 20 years of experience in education, team development, mentorship, and personal and professional growth. She holds a Doctorate in Education and Leadership and certifications in Narrative Coaching, Integrated Development, Mediation, and Human-Centered Design. Rachel works with individuals and teams seeking meaningful change in their personal or professional lives.
Passionate about transformational growth through connection, she believes nature offers powerful opportunities for deeper self-discovery. She welcomes “walk-and-talk” sessions to integrate mind, body, and nature.
Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, observing nature in the backyard or on a hike, and sharing stories around a fire—with plenty of snacks.
